How to Spot a Fake Michael Jordan Rookie Card

Michael Jordan only has one mainstream rookie card, the 1986-87 Fleer #57.

It is widely considered the "Holy Grail" of the basketball sports cards hobby. This is a must have for any die-hard fan of the greatest basketball player ever.

With a simple tweet, Shaquille O’Neal announces his retirement after 19 years of playing in the NBA.

The last member of the 50 Greatest Players of the NBA to retire, Shaq's career has been dominating. This also translated to sports cards where his cardboards have been one of the most highly collectible in the hobby.

The 1993-94 Finest Basketball set is groundbreaking because it is the first premium basketball set.

Produced by Topps, it contains a total of 220 base cards and 40 subset cards of ten of the best players in each of the four divisions as follows: Atlantic (card # 90-99), Central (card # 100-109), Midwest (card # 110-119), and Pacific (card # 120-129). 

Mail Months April - May: Huge Lot of Shaq Rare Cards

These are what I have accumulated over the past two months of April and May for my Shaquille O'Neal collection.

Most of these are hard-to-find insert cards. As most of the player collectors who came to love the hobby in its  heydays in the early to mid-90's as high school or college students, I have long wanted these cards. But since my financial capability is next to zero at those times, I never got the chance to add them to my PC. Until now.

Kobe Bryant 98-99 SkyBox Thunder Flight School

This has got to be one of the coolest and most unique insert design ever.

The 1998-99 SkyBox Thunder Flight School insert card has a "binocular" design which is unlike any card ever produced. The cards have a ratio of one in 96.

Russell Westbrook 08-09 UD Black #46 Jersey Auto RC

The Oklahoma City Thunder made it to the Western Conference Finals today after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies in the pivotal Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinals matchup.

Kevin Durant played a large part in the 105-90 win scoring 39 points. Arguably, Russell Westbrook provided the more impact as he finished with his first playoff career triple-double (14 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds).
